Acts12
An angel rescuing Peter from prison

Crisis

The fledgling church was in crisis because the apostle Peter was in jail. They feared for his life because Herod had begun to kill the church leaders to appease the Pharisees.

Response

The Church gathered to pray through the night for Peter's deliverance.

Outcome

While they were praying an angel broke into the prison and rescued Peter. Peter then went to the home where his company was meeting and told them the great thing the Lord had done.
