FAQ
Do I have to give monthly or can I give my yearly gift in one lump sum? Yes. You can give your yearly commitment as a lump sum or break it down to monthly donations.
Am I a Voice if I give monthly? Yes. Any donation starting at $1 or more given on a monthly basis qualifies you as a Voice.
Why do you have to ask me for credit card information again if I have already given it? In order to keep your credit card information secure, we assign in its place an authorization code. The authorization code is stored in our system, but your actual credit card number is not. In addition, the authorization code assigned to you expired annually. This is why we follow up year after year to re-verify your information. While the annual verification may seem redundant, it maximizes your credit card number’s security.
Can I choose a date for my donations to be deducted? Whatever day you sign up to contribute will become the day of the month that your contribution is deducted. For instance, if you enter your card details on July 15, your deduction will always be within a few days of the 15th (allowing for weekends, holidays, etc). If you would like a specific date, please contact our Partners office for assistance.
Can I give online? Yes. Just log into your account and designate a gift—one-time or recurring. If you do not have an account, please create one. Go to our Donate Page now.
How can I receive a giving statement? If you are in the US and have given more than $250 over the year we will automatically generate your yearly giving statement at the close of each year. It will be mailed to you by February of the following year. If you require special consideration, please contact the Be a Voice office for assistance.
What if my giving statement is incorrect? Please contact the Be a Voice office immediately if you discover that your giving is not accurately reflected on your statement.
